It all began in 1954, when Bill and Ramona Stokes were convinced by their only son, Tom, to plant Old Vine Zinfandel behind the Family’s first home in Lodi, Ca. Today, the 3rd and 4th generation still farm these ninety acres, in addition to others in the San Joaquin County and Sacramento County.

The Stokes Family believe in what they do despite any hardships or setbacks. This is a common attitude for Central Valley farmers, not just the Stokes Family. And as a community of farmers, the Central Valley will always persevere.
