Central Valley & Sustainability
LODI rules Certified green
For decades, farmers in the Central Valley have worked to preserve soil fertility, increase energy efficiency, and practice water management. We respect Mother Nature and her influence on Central Valley grapevines. The soil, weather, climate, and hard-working hands of our farmers contribute to the quality of grapes we farm. We are Lodi Rules Certified Sustainable.
SOIL HEALTH, LIVESTOCK & WATER EFFICIENCY
Our soil health initiatives are minimal to no-tillage farming with the presence of a natural cover crop that is managed with livestock grazing. With the use of drip irrigation, farmers can take care of their vineyards while conserving the use of water. Our water comes from the Sacramento Delta River. It is drip irrigation that feeds our vines so they can withstand the Mediterranean climate.
Flexible and affordable quality
Most farmers in the Central Valley are advocates of mechanical farming, but some varieties like old vine zin require hand-harvesting. For specific varieties and volumes, we are able to provide hand harvested grapes. However, we have access to various machinery based on buyer needs.
